Somebody loves me

I love Finn; She loves me. She runs to greet me each morning and when I come home from work. She is my favorite (Sorry OC and Atticus).

Four Peaks

One of my goals since moving to Phoenix was to climb the largest mountain in the Valley (or just outside) Browns Peak (Elevation 7,567 feet). We headed out with the dog and a friend, Rodney, for the peak. Scott had to stay just above the saddle with Addie because she couldn't make it the whole way up the chute (a very steep and very rocky narrow passage way to get to the top, with some rock climbing involved). It was terrifying, but I made it all the same. Thanks to Rod for helping me up :)

Day 7

On day 7 we left shore in St. Goar up the Rhine river to get a good view some castles along the river. Then we visited Rheinfels castle, which was once the biggest along the rhine. What we walked through was still huge, but in it's prime, it covered 5x that area. We headed back to Koln that night, and traveled 22 hours back to Phoenix the next day.

Day 6

We were in Germany again for day 6. We took the rental car (with Scott's parents) south of Koln to the Mosel River where we toured Burg Eltz Castle (http://www.burg-eltz.de/). Then we drove down the Mosel to Koblenz and the Rhine River.

15

I was out with the girls tonight when I got a lot of phone calls from Scott (at our softball game). He made a daring catch, but ended up splitting open his left eye. So he got 15 stitched above his left eye (7 underneath, and 8 on top), all courtesy of yours truly. Warning, pics may be graphic :) I will post more photos of the black eye that I am sure is going to be even more impressive tomorrow.
