March and April

1. It is harder to blog now since Tessa is so active. When she was little, I would nurse her for 45 minutes 5+ times a day, and usually had the computer right there to update, blog-stalk and shop online... but now the computer is way cooler than anything that I have to offer. Plus she nurses in about 10 minutes. I kind of miss those days...

Now she is climbing trees -

April 3, 2010

Scott may or may not have put her in there.

2. Grandma Honey's (Sheryl) birthday was this week. We celebrated by going to the Tempe Art Festival and had lunch at a cafe with all the other girls. Tessa felt very grown up, until she was ready to go and then started throwing everything onto the ground. Grandma had a good time though. We celebrated on her birthday with cake and presents, and she received 3 completely different gifts from the immediate family - gold jewelry, Crocs and walking sticks. She loved them all. And I am sure she is greatful to her sisters who know better than to buy things and gave her gift cards.

3. Speaking of birthdays... we passed the 29th which means Tessa is now 10 months old! We went to the doctor a couple of weeks ago and here are her current stats:

Height: 27 3/4 inches

Weight: 16 pounds 15 ounces

Poor giraffe gets thrown around these days.

4. You may remember me talking about all the rain we've had this year. When you have lots of rain in the desert, you get this -

It is seriously beautiful!

5. This is Tessa's most favorite toy (if you don't count cell phones and computers of course)

6. It's funny how she learns what things are used for. She will play with the remote to the TV, and then look at the TV. Here she is with our home phone -

7. I made this cake for Easter. It was great because you didn't have to bake it (if you buy the angel food cake at the store) You mix 1 package of vanilla pudding mix (just the mix) with 1 20-ounce can of crushed pineapple, and add 1 cup of cool whip. Mix, layer and serve!

8. Tessa loved Easter. She loved it because she could put everything in her mouth.

9. Scott and I are still here.

Sometimes we even get some alone time,

but not usually.
