Easter Sensory Bin

I hid a lot of items inside the eggs, and she hasn't even found half of them, so this will keep her entertained for a long time.
Her favorite thing to do this day was taking turns riding her toys around on her bike.
"Easter Bunny turn!" "Ball turn!" "Egg turn!"

Highlight of the weekend
The Easter Bunny!
Tessa was in heaven.
Our neighborhood spring fling event was supposed to be yesterday, and they rescheduled it for today (thank goodness!) Bounce houses (bouncy house as T calls them), laser tag, running in a hamster wheel type thing, easter egg hunt and the Easter Bunny himself!
Tessa quickly figured out that the eggs held candy inside, and so she just wanted to pick one up and eat everything inside of it.
*** Update on potty training***
Day one was Friday. She had two accidents.
She was wet when she woke from her nap yesterday,
otherwise she stayed dry.
No accidents today.
Tessa is potty trained :)

Six days ago
we were in the pool. Today we got more snow. (when I say we... I mean our mountains)
Here we are, all bundled up on a walk to the pond to feed the ducks.
Tessa didn't care much about the ducks, she just liked to throw bread into the water. Good thing, because this is as close as mama duck let us get to her and her babies.
Happy weekend!

Big Girl Bed Day 2
Things went much better today (even last night was awesome!) She cried a little last night, and stayed in bed till morning. She only cried for 30 minutes for her nap today. Tonight, after her bed time story, I asked if she was ready to sleep in her big girl bed. She quietly said yes. I asked if she liked her new pillow. She smiled and said yes (where as before she was throwing it on the ground). I asked if she wanted her blanket over her (where before she would kick it off). She said yes. After tucking her in, I gave her a kiss, told her to close her eyes and she was falling to sleep as I walked out of the room.
Why did we move her to a big girl bed? She wasn't climbing out. She was happy with her crib... but we are ditching the diapers next weekend. She is ready. We are ready! To prove how ready she is, we went swimming for the first time in the pool today, and she asked to get out to go potty. That's awesome. Hooray Tessa!
