How big is Tessa?

THIS BIG!

We had her 9 month check-up on Friday and here are her latest stats:

Height - 27 3/4 inches
Head - 17 1/4 inches
Weight - 16 pounds 14 ounces

She is growing great and staying on her growth curves.

We've been doing lots and lots of walking. She prefers to walk places instead of crawl. She's not able to get to a standing position by herself, so she usually crawls over to the wall, the dog, a chair or our legs to pull herself up, then off she goes!

She walks like frankenstein.
Speaking of little monsters, our little monster decided to wear this yesterday -

We had some supporters of this look in the family... and a lot of people who hated it. Tessa quickly took it off when she realized that KU was the better team.

9 Months

Here comes my baby! Wow. Tessa has changed so much in this past month. She has graduated herself from napping in her swing to sleeping only in her crib (who would have ever thought?). And she is everywhere! At least we always know what room she is in because she is also very vocal, mostly saying Dada. Mama will come out every now and then, but mostly when she is upset and crying. She continues to love the animals, and will crawl onto Addie's bed to share it with her. And today, she decided crawl into the same basket Finn was laying in (okay, maybe it was more of a fall). And then she started to walk. I would never think that was coming so soon. She didn't do the one or two steps and then fall thing, she just took off.

Here is her walking today -

Loving on Addie

I made this outfit. (except for the onesie) It's not that pretty, but for my first pair of pants and a headband, I wouldn't say it's that bad either.

She still only has two bottom teeth, although we can feel the top four right underneath the gums.
From Baby swing to Big Girl Swing

I learned that she can hold her own bottle this month. Who knew? (probably the Nanny)
Sweet baby girl. Happy 9 months!
