Germany Day 1

Okay, I'll finally post about our trip to Germany. We took off Saturday morning from Phoenix, and arrived at 9 am on Sunday in Cologne, Germany. Cologne (or Koln) is Germany's fourth largest city, and it was so young! Young couples with children were walking around everywhere in the city (Even when it was 45 and raining). The only think to survive WWII was the Dom, or Cathedral, in Cologne. The did remove all the stained glass and artwork before the bombings, so that survived as well as the structure. It was very impressive. We walked the 509 steps to the top of one of the towers and got a birds-eye view of the city and the Rhine. We also visited a city park and had the first of many germany meals.

Carpet cleaning

What do you do when your carpets are wet from being cleaned? Play badminton!

It was all love after the game though. We tied.

Softball

Scott and I played a total of 1 game together for our Gilbert Softball league, and we won the game. Coincidence? I think not. Thanks to Mom for the great pics.

Goldmine Mountain

I had to share these picks of me at the top of Goldmine mountain (the closest mountain to us). You can see both the houses from there as well. (hint, my mom and dads is a pile of dirt, and you can technically only see our tree)
