7 Months

What a month you've had! You are full of giggles and love to talk with your dad and me. You are getting close to crawling. You are able to get onto your hands and knees from a sitting position and will rock back and forth before falling onto your belly. You have two teeth, and we think the top two will be coming in soon. We spend your first Christmas here in Arizona and got a visit from Santa, and you went to your first Sun's game, which they won! You give us high fives and (open mouth) kisses and you have learned your first sign - MILK! We have to be careful about that word around you because you expect to be fed immediately after you've heard it. You like your orange vegetables, but don't care for green ones. Apples and bananas are okay, sweet potatoes are your favorite, and watching you eat your puffs is pretty funny because they mostly stick to your hands.

We celebrated Christmas early with Grandma Honey before she went back to Kansas City. You gave her and Grandma McMillan footprints from Piggies and Paws. They gave you lots of fun toys, clothing and books in return.

Santa brought you a walker

And I love the fact we have the same ideas in footwear.

Here's one more picture of the piano Aunt Katie gave you for Christmas. You love it.

You received this hat from St Louis (Erin and Cheryl made it for you). I love it.

Speaking of Love, Addie loves Daddy. She will learn to love you.

Happy 7 Month Birthday, Tessa.

Merry Christmas!

Tessa loves all of her gifts! Thank you to everyone. We are headed off to the Suns game now. Hope everyone else had a great day!

Scott made a bong. Tessa loves it.
She now insists on wearing a reindeer hat all year long.
(so maybe it was just dry-ice from our Famous Lou Malnati's Pizza)
But here is the real reason for this post. Merry Christmas Dad!
Thanks for buying this awesome patio set.
We are thoroughly enjoying our new views of the mountains, while you are still in the frozen tundra.
Just kidding. We miss you, and can't wait til you get back down here to use it.

All I want for Christmas...

Tessa met Santa today. She didn't cry, but she wasn't happy about it either. She kept on looking at the elves and me with this puzzled look on her face. We couldn't make her smile once, and we had all the time in the world because we were the only ones there! Not a good sign considering we have pictures on Wednesday. And if you are wondering, Tessa asked for world peace and Battlestar Galactica on Blu-Ray.

OC (and Tessa)

Today was a cold and rainy day, and it reminded me of the day OC came to live with us. We didn't want her, but it turns out she is our best pet. (sorry Finn and Addie, but not really. You two dig holes and poop on things) She once would only hide under the bed and wouldn't let you near her. And now she will even let the babies pet her. Rehab was a success!

In other news, we got our Christmas tree up. Tessa and I are starting to get into the holiday spirit. Scott is still wearing shorts and t-shirts.

I like stripes!

Checking Addie out in her walker. I have a feeling these two will be sharing toys.

6 Months

Tessa is 6 months old! (and a week). She is on the move too! She rolls everywhere and walks in her new walker (usually chasing the animals around). The day after her 6 month birthday, she also got her first tooth. A couple days later we could see the one next to it coming in too. She's been a great sleeper so far, but teething stinks! She has been really fussy all this week, and in addition to getting 2 teeth, she received her vaccinations and had her first fever. Poor baby! We hope to start adding new foods to her diet (she doesn't like peas) and we can't wait for christmas so she gets some new toys! Here are her six month stats:

Weight 13 pounds 14 ounces
Height 26 inches
