I want my camera back
Dear Camera Repair man -
You said my broken shutter button was an easy fix. I would have my camera back in 10 days. It has now been almost one month. I am sure the work will be good, as you have been recommended by the best. But when I called you last week, your "ummmmmm.... let's see... what camera was that again?... oh yeah..." made my heart sink. So I will be calling tomorrow, informing you I NEED it this week, because my point and shoot is just not the same.

A conversation held between the two of us in the backyard, laying on a blanket, eating peach ice cream out of cones (and I am not pregnant):
Me - Do you think we will still be doing this same thing in ten years?
Tessa - yes
Me - Do you think you will have brother or a sister someday?
Tessa - yes
Me - okay... well, how many sisters will you have?
Tessa - One, Two, Three
Me - Wow, three sisters. Daddy is in trouble. How many brothers?
Tessa - One

June 19th
Did I miss Father's day? Silly me. We did not miss out celebrating it, though. Tessa made Daddy breakfast - eggs and toast, as well as a personalized card made from her artwork.

As for my Dad, we competed his day with a trip to the pool - beer and cigar in hand.
Happy day for all!
Thanks to my two favorite guys for all you do.

AMFY
Tessa and I spent Tuesday morning at the Arizona Museum for Youth. It was a lot of fun, but included a lot of art projects that Tessa didn't quite get yet (rubbings, still life etc...) but it gets me excited to see what she learns from visit to visit (and we will be back!)
