10 months!

This pretty sums up the past month - crawling, climbing and drool!  We're still at 2 teeth, but the top two are so close to breaking thru.  

We also learned to clap, give high fives, wave hi/bye, play peekaboo and sign all done (he's good at "milk" too).  

And he got a hair cut!  The combover was getting a little too extreme :)

Backyard Camping

Tessa and I camped out... in the backyard last month.  She was really excited!  We had a campfire in the evening and made chocolate brownies inside of an orange.  (Sounds better than it actually was).  Tessa slept great in the tent.  Mommy, not so much.

We were up early with the chickens (very early).  We made pancakes by the fire, and the chickens helped themselves to the pancakes off of Tessa's plate.

Asher and Scott were well rested but joined up for some fun in the tent after breakfast.

Tessa wanted to sleep out there with Daddy the following night, but he said no!  Two points for Mom, zero for Daddy! :)

9 months

Ash is 9 months!  Such a big guy.

Here are is current stats:

Weight - 16 pounds 13 ounces

Height - 28.5 inches

Teeth - two!

Teething was not so bad.  Just a few wake up calls during the night.  

We are figuring out what he likes to eat; baby food, not so much.  Dirt?  Yes.

Such a boy.

He is pulling up and sometimes cruising a few steps, but he is quite fast a crawling, so he tends to stay low to the floor mostly.

And on the tile he does this tripod crawl, with one knee, one foot and his hands.  Very cute.
