Scott in Alaska

While we were in Sedona, Scott was in Alaska.

He met his Uncle Jim and cousin Sean the first day and got a tour from the locals of Anchorage. The St. Louis crew joined them later that night, and the next day, they packed themselves into the motor home and headed to the coast. They spent two days clamming for razor clams, a day on the ocean fishing for halibut, rock fish and silver salmon, and then headed inland to fish the pink and red salmon on the rivers. All in all, he brought back 50 pounds of seafood, a beard, and some pretty cool pictures.

Live at the Red Rocks

While Scott is in Alaska, my mom came down to AZ to enjoy some Kelly time :) We took Addie up to Sedona and did three trails:
Devil's Bridge

Bear Mountain

Boynton Canyon Trail

We only had to run (literally) from the monsoon rains once, and we experienced our first Arizona wildlife - A rattlesnake! Addie was worthless in detecting it's presence. I think she would rather be bit by the rattlesnake than be lead down another Arizona trail. (It was our last day, and she was very ready to go home.)

Enjoy the Red Rocks!

What are these?

We had clouds and RAIN this evening. We have had sunny skies for about a month now (not to say that I am complaining!)

I do whatever Katie does

Katie has a blog, so I need a blog. It will most likely consist of pictures of our cat, Finn, our dog, Addie, and our hikes. No baby picture though. I will not be following her footsteps in that department just yet.
