Our weekend

Roots N' Boots Rodeo in Queen Creek was awesome!  Lawn mower races, mutton bustin, stick horse rides, ferris wheel and more.  Amazing weather, amazing company.  Can't wait for next year!

Tonto!

Toronto, or as Tessa calls him Tonto!  (He also goes by names such as TLS, but only on bad days).  We were barely getting out of the car at the farm and Tessa was yelling "Tessa ride! Tessa ride!"  After we played with the kitties, learned some ground rules around horses and brushed his coat, it was time for Tessa Ride!

Me: What's that Tessa?
Tessa: BEAR!
Me: No, that's a hippo
Tessa: Hippo Bear!

First Sensory Box

A Sensory Box is a container filled with any kind of tactile material that kids explore with their hands. With a Sensory Box children are using their sight, touch and smell to experience their environment in a totally new way. It’s a great way for children to engage their senses and also to relax.
