Happy Valentine's Day! (On March 1st)

So February got away from us due to this - 

Sick Babies!  Asher had a fever for 10 days.  Tessa had a fever for five.  Needless to say, not much got done around here until three separate trips to the pharmacy finally put us all back on the mend.  Now we just have horrible allergies flaring up.  Anyway, back on Valentine's Day I had a whole fun morning planned before I had to rush off to work.  What do they say about best laid plans again?

Tessa and Asher both got some neat books and presents from everyone.  Then I asked Tessa if I could get a nice smile with her Valentine's day loot.  

Wait, that doesn't look like a nice smile to you?  Oh yeah, me either.  See that big lollypop in her hand?  About 2 seconds after this picture it was in my hand and on it's way to the trash.

Scott then strapped a crying Tessa into the car so I could take her to preschool on my way to work.  EXCEPT - on my way out I see that they are having a special "100th Day" party at school instead of a Valentine's Day Party and I am supposed to bring fruit loops (?) and she is supposed to be in her favorite PAJAMAS!  So fruit loops weren't going to happen, but I quickly took her out of the car (luckily the crying had stopped) and I was searching thru her dirty clothes for the cleanest pair of PJs that I could find (because OF COURSE they would all be dirty, right!).  Tessa kept asking why she was going to wear her dirty clothes to school.  

So she got to school in some relatively clean PJs, I made it to work somewhat on time.

When I got home I tried to take some photos again, this time with more success.  (kind of... Tessa's big smile?  It's because she just kicked Asher over.  aye aye aye)

And the marshmallow sucker magically appeared after all was said and done, too.
